no im not using a bottom drain,though i was thinking about and undergravel type setup with the pump sitting on top,set at the lowest point,ill have to give it some thought

Yep there's a massive bit on feeding if you go to Information then feeding bit, they also sell there food, it's at the bototm of fish for sale page i think.

Good job you showed me that, we have only been using floating food,sturgeon needs sinking food,we throw maggots in and we have seen it eat them on the bottom,I said to my dad, 'can it not see it keeps missing them' ,after reading that i now know it can't

You could try smallish Prawns for your little guy, he will probably take them. Just ensure they sink. The Albino was 35 pounds I think, not 100% sure though, he was in a place in Soham called Amwell Aquatics which has a very good coldwater section and tropical section.

You may be right it could have been 50 Paul, again you are to fast .

Try him with prawns later then.Will have to look for proper sturgeon food if you can't give them ordinary sinking pelets.

They are a bit expensive TO BUY love one though.
