Once upon a time...

A man could not stop staring at his beautifully-made Dandelion Sticker-Mural Wall and whispered to himself, "Why does my wall still looks empty..?"

*Poof!* A 60Litre Tank with its Golden Iron stand appeared out of nowhere! AquaPit! It complements perfectly well with the wall design!

Many 'Poofs' later, its time for a re-scape!!

The End! :p

Okay.. now for the fun part, my fishkeeping journey.. *yawnnn*

Lol!

I started fishkeeping on 19 August 2013, my very first! I did not know what 'Cycling a tank' means and thought Goldfish is the only fish that can be kept in a fish tank!

I struggled with unknown or more like clueless issues such as Overstocking, Fish-in Cycle, all my Harlequins died the very first day(all 15 of them!) and many more!

Well, I learn more every single day and I am hooked to this new hobby of mine! And I am delighted to have found this forum as well! :)

Now for pictures and their story...

Introducing... AquaPit!

AquaPit's Story Part Two!

After many struggles with the death of some of my fishes and the rest fighting for survival in AquaPit, i decided to seek advice from another LFS..

Got some good tips on how to handle a new tank and their advices somehow tally with the research I made..

So.. I transferred the surviving fishes and begin treating the water properly.. Still at a clueless zone though!

The new set up with Blackwater added in(Have no idea what was it then!)20130910_195218-1.jpg

Well.. After a few tweaks here and there, it was full running with no casualty! Apparently, I did another unintentional fish-in cycle yet again!

End of Part Two!

Stay tune for Part Three! :p

Nice work :)
Thanks Matt! :) Stay tuned! haha

Is the tank still so ridiculously overstocked? :p
Part four should have the tank owner sending some fish back to the store.

The tank does look nice. :good:

Hahaha..
Its at a point where I prefer calling it.. "Heavily Stocked" ... Sounds better than "Overstock!"

Yes.. Part Four and Part Five will be gping through that process!

A sneak peek.. Part Four involves a change of filter.. :p

I love your driftwood!! And the dandelion!
Thanks! The scape will be change soon though.. Im stil unsure whether to keep the 'arched' driftwood...

okay! i will keep it in the rescape design then.. :)

Haha, you do what you want, but you should at least put it in another fish tank then because it's too fancy to go to waste ;)

So.. I have been thinking.. Since I have quite a small tank, I am thinking of getting smaller pieces of driftwoods, wood caves and plant decorations.. Almost miniature-like.. Reason being, these small little pieces will at least make AquaPit looks bigger! (Well, I hope so!)

Hmm.. any suggestions?

I want it to look long and also spacious enough for the Neons to swim from left to right of the tank..

Anyway, stay tuned for more pics and stories in Part 4!

*Out of topic alert!* haha

Just want to share my Dad's fish that he loves keeping!

I have no idea what it is called!
