75 Gallon Rebuild.

It is not bad at all for the corals to go 24 hours with no light. They will just take a bit to open back up and have no color at first. Fish too. They will seem quite pale, but after a few hours of lights on, it will all go back to normal. I had cyano and didn't even pay attention that it had disappeared lol. One of my Turbo snails at it up and I did larger water changes upon noticing it.

Great zoas, I have green ones just like yours with the orange center!

The water is still a bit gross from me moving things around.

See, that wasn't so hard. I covet thy large zoa rocks. Those branches will look cool when they're covered in coraline. Now, go forth & pay homage to my journals.

I got another tank since January. It's a wicked Biocube that's been tricked with all sorts of deliciousness.

I'll be sure to check that out after I get off work.

Just out of interest what are you using to test for phosphates & how old is the test kit?

It may be worth investing in the D-D/Deltec/Merc one. It is very expensive but the level of accuracy that it provides is worth the extra cost.

Hm I might get one next time I get some extra money for goodies. On a side note earlier today I found what I have only dreamt of. I found an exclussively saltwater fish and coral shop. This is one of their 5 75 gallon frag tanks

The owner is the man I bought my aquarium off of. And get this. They are starting a coral trading club. :hyper:. I am an exceedingly happy person today.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :kana: :yahoo:

That's awesome news, Clay. Good for you. Some of my best corals are from hobbyists.

IMAG0510.jpg

Otherwise nothing else except Im a "little" mad at my chocolate chip starfish. Who has taken a liking to turbo snails. He is going to the lfs next week.

Hm I just got a phone call from a friend and I think I might see a sun coral in my future :shifty:
