I do, just common Pond Snails and Trumpet Snails.

I guess it could be, but Pond Snails and Trumpet Snails aren't famous for eating plants, to my knowledge anyway.

And for you Llj, still really struggling to get decent images, it's like trying to photograph Usain Bolt mid-100 metre race, some of them have really coloured up nicely, definitely my favourite fish at the moment, I paid £20 for 12 which I think is little extortionate, so I might go to MA at Trowell and see if they have any. Also the rogue Guppy I told you about has been rehomed in my Auntie's tank.

I really don't know what to do, leave the scape as it is or add more Crypts and Vallis, any thoughts?

CRYPTS!!!

Trowell has Spice Rasbora's and that's it mate. Unless you want sparkling Gourami's, Galaxy Rasbora's or more Ember's.

Looking good mate, the LED setup really shows it in a different light (literally!!) Well done pal.

Cheers buddy, I'm thinking of red/brown Crypts in the rear corner, everything in that corner doesn't grow for some reason, most probably a lack of light, the C.willisii I bought has an average height of 4Cm, so I think it could actually be C.parva, the C.bullosa is growing out and not up. What are Spice Rasbora's I had a google and couldn't find anything? I'd love some Galaxy Rasbora's, but knowing Trowell, they're probably £5 each!

No idea mate. They were a very pale version of yours mate. £1.50 each or 6 for £8, as were the sparklings.

The Galaxy Rasbora's (Celestial Pearl Danio's) were £2.99 each. They also had some Purple Harlequins in which looked a little larger, but my word they were absolutely stunning! They would contrast superbly with the Embers!

Looking fab mate. If it were me i'd leave the planting alone, possibly more crypts but don't think Vallis would do anything to improve the look.
You seem to have the knack for choosing nice fish as well, be it Honeys, embers or these Ras.

Thanks, I am considering putting the main piece of wood with Fern and Anubias etc in the Arc again and then pack it with Crypts, I'm not sure at the moment, but I'll keep you posted.

Right I've made some plans with this tank:

I'm going to replace the substrate with Unipac Fiji Coarse Sand, the basic composition of this scape will be maintained, with the hope of adding a ship load of Crypts in the gaps. Just to save for the bits I need now!

Unipac sand ordered, I went with 17.5Kg, I think it'll be a tad too much but better to be safe than sorry!

LED luminaire is in phase 2 also:

Filling up, back is broken from bending down too much! I need some tea, it's nice to relax whilst rescaping after exams though!

Thanks, apologies for the crappy lighting, the LED unit should be finished Monday/Tuesday next week:

The multiple P.helferi placement is a bit distracting, but the aim is for it to carpet.

Lily pipes will be added once I can afford them, and eventually an external heater.
