66l Dwarf Puffer Tank

:blush: thankyou :) i-Snail is more experienced than me...breeding experience there too! Mine just aren't that frisky (probably a good thing really :lol: )

I'm flattered that you mentioned my name Jenny :blush: . I think I'm only more experienced than you by a mere few months in keeping DPs but embarrassingly, that's about my limit in fishkeeping since I don't really have many other fish hehe.. :p

@LellowFish
I don't have anything to add to the good advice already given by the others here. But if you fail to source any pest snails locally, I'm sure I can sort a few breeding size ramshorns & bladder snails for you. Just pm me ;) Looking forward to more pics as your tank progresses.

Update:

I'm going to the various fish stores in Glasgow at the weekend to get some more plants and bogwood...And also see if any of them have or can order in any DP's.

I'll take some pictures once the new stuff goes in and i've had a fiddle around with the current stuff.

Another Update!

Went around the fish stores on Paisley Road West and I'm pretty impressed. Although most, bar Coral Reef, can't order in DP's I was impressed by their stock etc. Anyway, managed to get a couple of bits of bogwood for 6 quid.

So was going to ask if anyone knew of anywhere online that I can get DP's delivered?

There really seem to be a DP drought up north -_-

Good luck finding them :)

Ugh, tell me about it. I've either got to find a breeder or someone who online who can deliver...Hassle much!

Got the bogwood soaking in a basin so that should be ready to go in quite soon! Plec should have a good time until he's rehomed.

Keep looking hun....they are so worth it!!!!!

lisa x

Another update!

With my last water change on Monday (usually Sundays but I was on holiday and didn't get back till Monday morning), I had a little rescape...And put my bogwood in! Yay!

Pictures are in my photo topic. Can't be bothered finding the link...
