yea the bn's are getting moved the second they are over 1 inch so shouldnt be too long
thats a shame about the galaxy rasboras as was getting really quite tempted.
how about a small school of pygmies on the bottom and a shoal of wcmm on the top?

I think that would be ok yeah

been looking overnight and i found that wcmm are temperate fish?
will they be able to live with the higher temperatures that bettas are more accustomed too?

haha if you say so

On the very first post you made, you asked about the wood for ID, its Redmoor Root / Vine, I have some as well and I like it, very decorative.

And no, WCMM will do not do that well at Betta tank water temps, basically warm water will shorten WCMM lifespans and their colours and energy are nowhere near as vibrant as should be as in cooler waters.

Hope the sealant repairs do the job, I like these Clearseal tanks in their simplicity of design and you can do so many thing with that little tank.

Looking forward to seeing how this progresses

ok so i had to go away for the weekend so i left the tank full of water to do a long time leak check. :)
came back today and the level is even higher with no leaks (bit of rain) so the tank is ready.
all i need now is a plank of wood to sit on my drawers so i have a level load bearing piece.
then time to start cycling with some borrowed media :D

Also, pygmy cories shouldnt be kept at betta temps and are an al over fish. The best bet is wait for some algae and get 6-8 otos.

i thought that pygmies were comfy up to and including 26 degrees c which is in betta range?
i'll have a recheck thanks ells :)

Hi all so a little update. Tank is fully watertight which is great but I'm moving in July so tank won't be set up til then. My wood is fully soaked. So asap we'll be getting there
