So, recently I entered a ROAK and I won 6 guppies, 2 males and 4 females. Theyre just standard guppies. I am going to put them into my 5 gallon.  Its used to grow plants. I was wondering how to compensate for the slight overstock. Any ideas? I can perhaps get another tank. BTW theyre not tanks but Sterilite tubs. They work fine! I was thinking of getting some sponge filters and buying an airpump for them. The HOB doesnt work with the Duckweed.

On a separate thought, I will be selling the Giant Duckweed once it gets growing again! So, stay tuned.

Duckweed adsorbs tons of nitrates so that will really help but the only other thing I can think of is just lots of water changes :)

~19l for a mixed sex group of Guppies... Good luck with that idea when the females are dropping 20+ fry every month!

I was thinking of donating the fry or feeding them to my other fish. That shouldnt be a problem :)

Okay, so I forgot to mention that they're juvies, a month and a half old. They arrived today, and they're around 1/2 an inch. I will probably be moving them to a 7 gallon soon though, so I think I'm set!
