All I know is before I had loads of snails everywhere and a now a couple of months after getting the assassin snails I can't see a single pest snail

We had a leak and had a right time to fixing it. Pics added to first post

Looks like the leak has been cured. We won't know for sure for about a week so to give it time to drip through if thats the case.

Last few fish getting moved back into the main tank tonight.

Up side of this was we have moved a few things round and changed the layout.

thank goodness for that, was wondering what id do if that happened to me

Water Butt. 100ltr tank and 2 large containers from lfs that they let me borrow.

I only ditched a small amount of water but good time to do water change...

i also love the background but don't you think its a total waste of tank space

I loose around 100 litres of space. But that lost space hides all pipes. all heating, everything basicly.

For the look its worth it. Plus still another 420 litres of space at the front.

Oh also all the pest snails live in the back of the tank so my assasin snails have a great time back there.

still seams like a waste of tank space to me

with all the pipes at the back you are not getting the best out of your filters or heater

filters are doing great. The water gets pumped directly into the front of the tank and water is drawn back through the back. This means filtration wise its actually a better process.

Heating wise the temp is perfect. All water pumped back in is at the correct temp.

Only down side is space lost but its really no issue

I have added 2 new videos to the first post. :good:
It show's some of my fish in the tank.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the Black Knife Ghost Fish to come out and play.

hey what kind of geophagus is that? and nice tank btw i was really tempted to go with a 3d back ground.
