Well, the new officer was hiding when I got home late this evening, so no picture yet. I will finally let you all in on the fact that the new addition is, drumroll....

A juvenile Leopard Wrasse :yahoo:

I'm not too sure which species yet since it isnt showing its adult coloration yet, but we'll have to wait and see.

However, I have even better news. At least what I consider better news. After 3 days of looking forlorn from its encounter with the leather coral, my elegance is perking back up :D :D :D :yahoo:

pmsl, you'd have thought i'd have guessed it seeing as you mentioned on msn that you were going to look at one

i'm getting absent minded in my old age!!

glad your elegance is looking better

Yeah, fragging has been done, but probably not something you'd do to "save" one. Something you do if you can get it to successfully grow/survive first. :good: Definitely chuffed to hear its on the mend. Mine survived war, so should yours. :)

Whooopie! It just doesn't get any better than this, does it? When everything seems to work and fall into place. Glad to see the friendly is going to recover. Territorial disputes between friendlies are not so nice.

Do you have a name yet for the Leopard wrasse? Needs a nice name.

Beautiful tank SkiFletch, I read through this thread a few days ago and I'm very impressed. You've done a wonderful job.

Thanks for the compliment llj, it does feel great to have everything back, especially my pride and joy in the elegance. Its even opening up to morning sunshine again today, back to its normal healthy self :D. The Leopard Wrasse doesnt have a name yet, I'm still toying with the last name although I've got his first name picked out :shifty:

Reef command arrived in person to the theatre after a long day of meetings to find another act of mutiny by Admiral Hastings :(. It remains unclear to reef command whether Admiral hastings killed newly introduced Captain Felix Lew (leopard wrasse) or if Captain Lew did not survive his acclimation to the theatre and Admiral Hastings was merely re-cycling Captain Lew, yet either way the end result is the same, another officer fallen in battle. A proper burial will be impossible as Captain Lew is now just a skeleton of his former self and it was a shame that he was not introduced sooner :(

We really need a list of whats what. I get confused too! LMAO. Maybe an "Enlistment Form"? :shifty:

It has been brought to the attention of Reef Command that the constituency is having difficulty remembering the call signs of various officers of the Fleet. To remedy that problem, a full roll call will be issued
