It will probably be like a week, I still havent built my stand I dont really want to bug the parentals to go to lowes for a few more days

Cinderblocks, I did have a place but I decided I was going to use it for something else

My silicone came a few hours ago. Way earlier than I expected

Got most of the tank taped up and ready to seal

Looked online for how long to let it cure. 48hrs. Let it dry and now have filled for a leak test

No leaks!! I cant bring it inside quite yet as my dad still needs to move the big dresser that was left from when I switched rooms. But soon!

So I decided that I will buy a sponge filter for this tank as I already have an air pump etc
I also decided I will use my abundance of artificial plants temporarily until I get my next gift card for the medical study I'm participating in (cant work right now with covid and dont want to blow all my money right now)

I have driftwood soaking already and will begin rinsing my sand in the next couple days. Then I'll go down to the river to collect a few rocks and I'll maybe get more drift wood. I dont have a specific plan for scaping yet but probably will soon. Decided to go with a loose asian biotope for fish. I say loose because my plants once I get them wont strictly be asian
