30 Gallon Nano Journal...

Hey! You have the same fish stock as I do.

I think my cardinal and clown are great swimming buds - they always hanging out w/ each other. I do agree that if I could get more - I will. I love the cardinals.

Just thought I'd update this thing, It's been a little while since I did :D . Anywho, I got a big piece of L.R on Thursday night and also I'm not sure if I showed you guys the pieces I bought a while back but anyways here is how my tank looks now...There is a bit of brown algae growing in the back. But I didn't want to take it all off since I see my snails are enjoying themselves  . Here are the pictures:

EDIT: I also added a few more inches of sand at the bottom if you guys didn't notice ^_^. I just added it tonight so the water is a little gross looking.

nice it looks good. Are you gonna add more LR in the future? and and down the line maybe some corals?

Of course, You can never have too much L.R :D . As for corals, Im planning on purchasing my new lighting this December so I will porpably have my first coral by the end of December or by early January. :fun:

Just thought you guys deserved an update...

November:

I accomplished to buy PC lighting for the cheapest price I could find. It turned out that the cheapest price I could find was $90. And that includes shipping and 2 LED moonlights with fan circulation :fun: I must say it was a bargain I couldn't refuse. Anywho, more about the lighting when it actually comes :D Don't want to get my hopes up too high  .

Today:

I stopped by the dollar store to pick up a few colors I can use for the background. I ended up choosing blue because they only have white/blue/and green.

That's all I have to update for now. For the lights, there planned to be shipped out tommorow via fedex and arrive possibly by Wensday (Knocks on wood) :p . If not I think it'll propably take a day more. And now for the pictures:

First we have my tank and there temporary moonlights:

Then we have a full tank shot with my new background, I really like the deep color it has to it  :

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that whole rock wall. Maybe adding smaller rocks in the back of the tank would help with the stacking if I were to do that.

Looking good buddy :good: I like the background it should help to show up the colours in the tank.

Looking forward to seeing it with the new lighting.

I agree with the LR looks a little sparse at the mo but sounds like your well on your way to sorting it though. ;)

why not put some base rock in there may not be so good looking for a while but is much cheaper and will seed. cheap way to fill up your tank ;)
