well baldranger if that is your face in the avatar or one of the ones in your signature then you got one hell of a strange body ;) :p

OK update time....

Yep the tank took a beating ovre the last few weeks but with eh addition of ozone its really turned the tragedy around and got my tank back on tracks again.

I have just added another 12kg of liverock and started to aquascape the tank. As you will now see, there is the beginnings of the "Atoll" on the right side, this will eventually be a foundation for montiporas and plating hard corals along with LPS hoard corals.

This is a couple of pictures of the new stock i have been adding again. My male bluethroat and my achilles tang. The Achilles is a very delicate fish and so far its thriving in the new system.

Looking great so far!!! Love the new fish too

*bounces* Can't wait to see it for real!

Well Navarre..on the lighter side, I credit your wife with her patience for your aquaristic pursuits. And...I thought 20 lbs of nano rock was expensive. LOL.I finally got to read thru this post and I give you credit for maintaining your patience and persistence thru those difficult tank times. When you have time, try and finish up your diagram with Sketch Up when you have the final layout of your plumbing for this tank. Kudos. SH

Sorry to be dumb, but is your tank 220 L or 220 Gallons?

220 UK Gallons (well 218 to be precise :p ) 262 US gallons

Most definately.. ill just kick my son out and you can take his spot.. you are much prettier than him anyway! :p

Nah he lives with his mother.. andhe now has a new job as a chef in a top new resteraunt in town.

Not at the moment im afraid :( Due to most of my stock being wiped out by Oodinium i had to take drastic measures to save the remaining fish. Now they are in quarentine and the tank is just running with rock and corals to eradicate the parasite.

As soon as the fish are out of quaraentine i will post more piccys.

I did estimate that it would not be before Septemger before i could return the fish but with the warm weather and also the fact i am filtering with ozone also means i might be able to put the fish in far sooner than i anticipated.
