hello, well they didnt have any mushrooms, just a frag of some zoas, which we got, they actually have opende in about 30 after putting them in the tank.

can you guys give me info on these corals? like...

how fast do they grow?

how do they grow?

any supplements?

temperment?

how do you estimate and categorize flow? wer it is the filter pushes out water which then gets drawed to the power head and the wate is then expelled behind it. it is right in between the filter and powerhead and it doesnt move/sway.

right now they are high up on the tank with decent flow i think.

Zoas are a nice starter coral. Their polyps will not really grow much in size but they will spread and develop a nice sized colony. The rate of their growth, well I can't really say, but their growth rate is decent. No supplements needed. Temperament, can be temperamental, I have seen colonies start to overrun other corals when they run out of space to spread and if i remember correctly they do have the ability to sting other corals.

They do contain a potentially lethal paleotoxin however, so wear gloves when handling them

Zoos definitely appreciate decent flow, so make sure it's getting a good amount!

Lol , yeah thats why I said I haven't read the rest of the yet and it really looked like you were in the stage of having fish in there. Even if you haven't got fish in there, it is still nice to see the layout of the tank.
