So i am psyching myself up to get started on moving the 3ft decor to the 2.6ft.....this is gonna take a while lol

I do need to empty the 2.6ft and give it a clean, also the canister will need a clean as its been off for a while so will be stagnant (and downright nasty i am betting)
I\ll also need to catch all the fish and hold them in the 3.5ft until the tanks are done......

I'll update on here as i go (with pics if i think of it lol)...what am i thinking!!! Crazy!!

The 2.6 is now empty......all the plants bar the foreground have been pulled and decor removed from the 3ft, now catching fish and transferring the the holding tank (they are VERY unamused)....no pics yet, not much to see. The 3ft is a cloudy mess and the 2.6 is green lol, dont think ya need pics of that.

So i currently have a mess, with rocks, plants, wood stored in other tanks....but its started and too late to back out now lol

Decor in...substrate in....planted salvaged plants (not foreground yet)

I cannot do anymore tonight....will finish it off tomorrow...

I will need to buy more plants for the new tank, but cant do that until i get back to work :(
The canister is not yet running, i still need to pull it down and clean it. I will add some of the media from the 3ft's canister to kick it off again.

Ohhhh, i turned the lights on (2.6ft) and one tube is out...grrrrrrrrrr...so removed the whole hood and it not has the lights from the 3ft over it.....the tank will be an open top tank though

I ended up fixing the canister...it was actually very very clean (suprise)

Because i have babbled on long enough lol....i grabbed a pic of where the tank is at presently

Thanks guys :)

Nearly halfway across the front with the foreground, gonna have a ton left over me thinks

Just wondering Alasse are Gum Tree branches good as drift wood?

Great tank as usual.

I have gum tree wood in quite a few tanks :)

Thank you, its getting there

My yard is full of dry gumtree wood and here I am paying 40 and 50 bucks for a bit.

As the wood is dry if I soak it in water for 2 or 3 weeks it should be ok?

Completely dry....i dont really take note of time...i just toss it into the pond until i want it.

Though if it still leaches a ton of tannin, which i hate the look of, it goes back out there

Looks fabulous Alasse, I wish I had your skills :)
