1st Proper Bash At A Planted Tank! Update! 15/05/07

My tank has had a major change and overhaul!

I have taken all my plants out apart from the riccia and ludwigia and have planted them into my 4foot!

In my 4 foot unplanted tank (will be soon) i was gettin alot of brown algae and i figured this was because there wer no plants to take in the nitrates!

Soo i got some jars and pots anf filled them with gravel and sand and a few root tabs and put all my Hygo Speices in there :)

Should help get rid of the brown algae and fish sound like it as it is a bit more natural!

Fish look happier already!

But as for my now pretty much bare 2foot tank i am think of taking out all the substrate and doing the same for it (The planted jar thing)

And try and breed my cories in there!

I dont no like this jar look but but ... Im a lil fed up with all the mess in my lil 2 footer due to filter being kinda crap and clogging up all the time!

Thanks alot !

Shall post pics soon!

Well in my pic from left to right i have ...

Hygophila Difformis, Wood with Java Moss And Java Fern, Hygrophila Corymbosa "Siamensis" And Hygrophila Polysperma!

Hygrophila polysperma is what is at the left of supercoleys tanks also!

I do not know what the middle plant is though on his pic!
