10 gallon setup for $10!

 No Bettas, they are pretty but they are slow and quite boring IMO. Get

2 cories
2 platys
2 guppies
chinease alge eater

Yes That sounds happy to me!

CAE's get way to big for a 10 gallon and need a 30 gallon tank.

Hi MrMashashin :)

You got a great bargain there! I love gararge sales.

I agree with 55gallondude. Corys and a pair or two of guppies will give you interesting and active fish on bottom as well as on the top and middle areas of your tank. :D

Here's my stand! When I got it it was all rusty and you could see where it was sanded for rust. I repainted it with Rust-Erall (hammered Black)

I think the shellies are a fun idea. I don't know much about them, but they're cool. I believe a pair would be okay in a 10g, but I'll leave that determination to one of y'all that actually has some, cause I don't! :p

Do not get angels for a ten gallon - they will be quite unhappy.

Edited - Oops, never mind. Now that I see your tank setup, scratch the shellies. Looks good, have fun filling it!

I agree with 55.....embarassment. :/

However, whoever suggested angels should rethink that, angels get FAR too big for a tenner.....BAD!

Personally, I would get some tetras, maybe a female or short finned male betta, some cories...possibly platies....just anything small and entertaining...

Kribs are not good for a 10, but if you are interested in cichlids, a couple of rams, maybe 3 would go quite well too.
Third that embarrasing comment.

I would go with Dwarf Puffers, ottos, and bumblee bee gobies.

why three? i was told a pair could live happly in a 5g tank, then wouldnt two pair be fine in a 10g?
