The clown loaches are currently about 3cm long. I wasn't aware how big they might grow when I bought them - I fully expect to have to move them later. However, they, plus 12 glowlight tetras are certainly not too much for the tank at the moment, or in the near future.

I've two 80l tanks, one has a Fluval 2+ and the other now has a 3+ which I inherited. The 3+ makes a racket, and given it is second hand, I've decided to replace it. I was swithering between a 2+ and a 3+ and then saw that Fluval now don't do either so it would be a U2 or a U3. Not sure about...

A few months ago a bought a Tetratec ex 1200 - no problems. Then today the end of the spray bar came off (the stopper bit that plugs into the final pipe). It is now too loose to stay in, and I'm wondering what do do. Can I glue it? And if so what adhesive will work with plastic and not be toxic?

There's a 3 year warranty with this. I'll keep my old filter in the attic as a spare in case I need to return the new one under warranty

Unfortunately I couldn't catch him. So, I've done another 50% change, and I'll monitor Nitrate and Ammonia over the week or so to ensure the cycle is OK. Here's hoping all will be well.

Not sure. I was looking about to see if I could buy a new pipe system for a Interpet EPF350, but can't see to find any. These ones see to fit the filter, it is just that the hard plastic that make up the input and output at the tank end are too loose fitting

I've just bought a second hand tank, with a second hand interpet epf350 filter. Some of the pipes for the filter input and output are ill fitting, and I'm wondering about fixing them with insulating tape. Is this safe to do? Is there particular tape or a better way to do this?

Thanks for that. I will leave it a few days as you suggest. I've also got another 80l tank elsewhere in the house - I'm thinking I'll remove half the filter media from that too and put it in the new tank's external filter
