Gluing A Spraybar

A few months ago a bought a Tetratec ex 1200 - no problems. Then today the end of the spray bar came off (the stopper bit that plugs into the final pipe). It is now too loose to stay in, and I'm wondering what do do. Can I glue it? And if so what adhesive will work with plastic and not be toxic?

You could probably use hot glue, or if you want a permanent fix get either aquarium grade silicon or marine epoxy.

Superglue is safe for aquariums as long as its properly cured before putting back in (24hrs+).

Yup, but superglue doesn't work well on plastics

Depends on the glue but all that will happen is the glue will melt the plastic it touches then, once cured, will be fused together.....just the same as solvent weld for pipes.

Or just use solvent weld
