thought id share what i ran into today. I was searching kijiji this morning i was on a hunt to find a new aquarium  i stumbled on a ad i did not believe   85G Long aquarium with the filter, lights, everything and a brand new heater for 50$ it was a steal !!! Shows that patients is a virtue lol...

yes they are both male and female  i have tried the mirror technic and it has not worked lol she still chases him around

I have had my GBR for about 2 and a half months now everything was fine in the beginning when i got them they paired up laid eggs (Unfortunately no eggs survived) Now all the Female dose is chase the male around. My male GBR sits behind a rock now and hides all the time because the female wont...

i bought them separate and within days the laid eggs and ever since then they have not and the female chases the male around  but yea will see lol time will tell thanks for the reply 

30G i got 3 small angles really small and 2 rams and yes my angels will be moved when they get bigger  gorgeous tank btw 

I have 2 german blue rams one male one female i had them for about 2 months now. They have laid eggs a month and a half ago unfortunately all the eggs died or were eaten. Ever since then the female has been chasing the male all the time none stop every time she she's him and they have not yet...

thats exactly what happend when they laid eggs lol

the female chases the male around sometimes why is that ?

thanks bud for all the info really appreciate it  both the male and female finally relaxed the male is guarding  the eggs now and the female is watching him i think they have eat off all the unfertilized eggs and left the white ones will see what happens 

the thing that mostly concerns me is sometimes the female leaves the eggs and goes to the male and starts a fight and then swims back to her eggs  why is that

i bought 2 German Blue Rams about 5 days ago, a Male and a Female They are healthy and eating well   i was just wondering how long dose it take for them to start making eggs ? how will i know if the female is pregnant ?   also how do i know they have paired up i see them swimming with each other...

day 4 my ram looks happy as hell and i am considering of getting a female for him can i here some opinions on this ?

yes i have a blanket on one side of the tank

no the angels are smaller then him and there are plenty of places to hide in the tank

i got a 29g tank with 4 baby angles 1 ram and a baby guppie and about 8 baby orange fish dono what there called lol yes i know 4 angels in a 29g is to small but they will be moved to my 120g when they get older 

he is really active he swims up and down the glass of the tan back and forth is this normal behavior ?

yea ill probably wait and see how this plays out with one i dont wanna buy another one and they both die couple days later 

im gonna go get a female for him today so he dosent feel lonely ill keep you guys updated if i need anymore help thanks for the replies  

  Well a PH between 5.0-7.0 is good so that sounds OK... he looks happy as hell hes swimming around the whole tank dosent seem like hese scared of anything  i dont wanna jinx anything tho
