i just got him yesterday from the pet store yes my water is warm 81F   just fed him this morning he was eating like a champ looked very hungry the store prob didn't feed them properly

I was almost ready to say it looks great but it'll fatten up once its been there for awhile.  Its got some great colour to it though, my GBR isnt as blue as that

Well a PH between 5.0-7.0 is good so that sounds OK...

he looks happy as hell hes swimming around the whole tank dosent seem like hese scared of anything

I'd say wait till he's bulked up to get him a mate as if he tries breeding whilst skinny it could do him more damage than good
