Hi All, Just moving my fish into a new tank and i found this.... Have my Jewel Chiclids mated? if so could this of caused them to be agressive? What should i do, do i keep them in the old tank with the eggs or should i split them up? Please help.

Hi, They do seem to be getting a little bit fiesty, would they be ok with other chiclids or are they just aggresive full stop, it is a shame as they are lovely looking fish, but you live and you learn, im sure most of these pets shops will sell people anything regardless... i think it very cruel.

yes the biorb's use under gravel filtration its encased in a round plastic container, so i presume i crack that open it will have media with it and then just place in my filter and that should be that? Sorry to ask such silly questions i just want to make sure im doing the right thing :)

well i have just had a little trial..... My friend has some female betas so i asked him he could bring one round, we placed her in my tank... And almost instantly the puffer was attacking her and this happened several times in a very short space of time... so we obviously removed her...

Also i get the other tank i plan on keeping the biorb to keep the puffer in, If i did this would the biorb be suitable and is ther anything else i can put in the tank with him with out risking them being eaten, or is it just other pufferfish you put them with and if so what types would be best...
