Hi phoenixgsd, I wouldn't be planning on putting amphibian spawn or tadpoles in the tank. I'd be too worried about a possible escape, but I wasn't aware that removing frog spawn was illegal. I may mention this to my class as I'm sure they'll be tempted after we start our pond dipping lessons.

Hi guys, I'm after some South American shrimps or possibly crabs. Really would like them to be South American, but I don't seem to be able to find any? Assuming they must at least exist, is it just that they aren't commonly traded/sold? Species names would be really useful. Cheers, Andy

Lost power to my house a few months back in a power cut. I think it was 12hrs before I lost my first fish :( Ended up using an extension cable to a neighbour's house to get power to the tank. It was winter in the UK though, so temperature was an issue. Good luck mate.
