Corydora Sterbai

Hello
I bought a Corydora Sterbai to go with my other Corys, but he or she keeps swimming to the top and bottom looks like its going mad!! My other Corys are not like it, but it looks like they are getting agitated by it. Is this normal?

Yes, my other corys do that getting the air, but this one isn't getting the air when its swimming up and down the tank.
When i bought my Zebra cory it did the same thing, then stopped. I'm thinking maybe this is a sign that it hasn't settled down yet. Has anyone had this too.

8 of my 10 do this, their bonkers but in good health. They bury their nose in the sand 1 swims to the top has a wiggle this then set of the others and i have about of them gogin nuts then then go play in ths sand again

Thank you for your info, I was gonna take it out and put in my other tank, but I'll leave him or her now.

My sterbai did this for a few weeks after I first got them. They eventually settled down. No idea why, but there was nothing wrong.

I think cories are just a bit mental sometimes haha cute though

I got that with my Julii cories, they calmed down after a while though.

Hi thank you so much for your replies. The mad cory has calmed down a bit so hopefully like you all said, he will get better or be a bit mad!
Great having your replies, as i was going to transfer him into my other tank, but now i will leave him where he is.
