So the main issue is the risk that the Angel fish will eat the tetra? as the tetra is pretty big, much bigger than any neon i've ever had. i havent a clue how hot/cold it is i'm sorry but i'm sat with the quilt around me, the glass bowl would sit ontop of the tank on the hood, not actually in the water, its heavy s owould surely sink

Its not very warm here it never is, been raining all night etc and has chilled right off, will it help to put a glass fruit bowl on top of the tank lid, will it keep warm enough ?

right she is in a large net still in the tank, the other fish cant get to her, but i'm concerned about keeping the water temperature high enough for her in a bucket etc. she seems glad of the surface air, despite my fluval 3 plus kicking out the thousands of bubbles that it does

but she has had the black spots for months now, and no other fish has them thats the strange part, clove oil i know its probably the kindest way but i'm so close to my two silvers and my dalmation had them the longest. I really think there MUST be an alternative, i will purchase a hospital...

Only one that is swimming badly and has black spots and a bent tail end. I also have two angels, a dalmation molly, another silver molly, 2 corys, 2 bristlenose catfish, 2 danios, 2 neons, 2 black neons and a lemon tetra she is the only one this bad, although i've noticed fin rot on another...

You can buy Anti velvet and slime made by interpet, but i guess you have to first identify that all the symptoms are the same i think it includes flicking on objects hanging at surface rapid gill movement etc and obviously the slime Good Luck anyway, i hope the rest of your fish survive

See why dont people at the lfs tell you this when you buy the fish, i bought my platy and my swordtail at the same time, and nothing was said the lady there didnt even know how to sex the fish. Luckily they are both male, and get on, but this could have been so awful, I hate my lfs -_-

yes i guess, but how long can they hold it for, i've had her since April. And the blue tint is exactly the same as my male platy's. perhaps its just a coincidence i dont know, but it really does look like a mix of the two
