thanks for the advice :) i have two rotkiel severums in that same tank so i have now put the eggs in a net nursery with the air stone underneeth the the net. coverd the tank with card and turnd the light off so it is dingy in thr, and also thr were two white eggs in the batch and i reomved them...

there is some good news today :P i have just woke up toda and my jsed eye cichlids have layed eggs again but i dont know what to do with the eggs??? should i leave them witht there parents or take them out? remebering that the last time i removed them they didnt survive :'(

what it was that happend is that the spawned on the inside of the flower pot and the few unfertile ones went white and i removed them, then you could see the majority of the eggs mooving and with the brown/grey spots on the inside. i went to sleep that night and when i woje up in the morning...

keep posted about the wrigglers :) i have some sad new though my jade eye cichlids spawned the day before a few days ago and a few turned white, half turned into wrigglers an about half had not but they wer deffo fertile :hyper: then woke up today and all the eggs and the wrigglers turned white...

there is alot like jack dempsey, oscars, severums, keyhole, rams, jade eye, covicts all american cichlid really :)

i uderstand what ur saying but if you dont do it you will have just spent all that time and money for nothing! is sly on the fish aswell because its like they are being drounded if there water is not clean so stop being lazy haha :sly: :grr: :lol:

It is deffo a jade eye i have a breeding pair and it is nearly exactly the same as my male only a bit darker :P he is beautiful though i want him hahaha :D

thanks for the advice but i haqve just woke up this morning an the eggs are gone so i will just move the breeding pair to the new tank and let them take care of the eggs on there own with no interruptions. so will be moving the fish today thanks :good:
