I dont know much about your platies, but i have a black molly that is just as plump as yours, and i scheduled it do drop early february. Note: Young Mollies are less plump when pregnant adn have a smaller "litter" than older more "experienced" mollies

Hya budds I have a silver molly thats pregnant. I was just wondering, When do u think she will drop or how much longer?

I see but from what i know DO NOT try that. Usually she will do it on her own and it usually happens when she gets hurt or sick near drop when you have to touch her. It could hurt her and disrupt the slime coating on her scales.

Hey i picked up a preggo Silver Lyretail Molly from my LFS. I was Observing her today and she had no gravid spot? is it normal for this type, im normally used to black mollies so im new to these. But it is DEFINATELY Pregnant.

Dont worry too much the same thing happened to me, but he stopped following her once he realised she wasnt "interested" anymore. Now she just hangs around the filter while he just wanders around. No biggie :)

Ok thank you! It was just a discoloration i asked the petsmart associative and she said it was like that from the start. I will do more frequent water changes and buy some more testing kits :)

Ahhh i dont know whats going on!! the lady said i should have a gallon for every 1-inch of a fish. so i only have 2 two inch fish then i am only using twelve gallons?? i will never trust petsmart again, thanks guys i will check the water and get a 10-15 gallon tank for my goldfish to get them...

ok i understand what your saying but this occurence is so sudden! i keep the temp arout 72-75 degrees(sorry idk Celcius) and i made sure to only buy calm community fish. I think i did the converson wrong i have a 30 gallon tank with 10 fish and i think it turns out to 114 litres.
