Hi everyone im thinking of upgrading my orca 550 to a juwel 260. I want to transfer everything from my old tank to new and add more rock and new sand? Its cured so hopefully no problem. Any advice on doing such a change? I dont really know what im asking help about in general but maybe you guys...

Toadstools are really cool! Think i may need to get a pot for mine as i think they are about to start laying eggs! Not that they will last 5 mins in there. My hawk mostly eats my flake food like all the others! Not fussy at all and very peaceful, he also likes any of the frozen stuff i can get...

He is a very good boy! (girl?) Tanks very settled and going well the female clown sometimes hosts the giant mushroom which is a bit odd but it was never interested in anything else so its entertaining for me!

Thanks he/she seems to be fine. Have cut lighting and feeding down a bit to combat things. Would love to rescape but am still thinking about it lol.

Well im doing my bit and commenting on your journal, fairs fair after all! Wow what a tank thats going to be! Lights are epic and storms and things are a totally amazing concept for me to even think about let alone do! Keeping a keen eye on this one goodluck (not that you will need it).

Tank has been a bit messed up since the move and has given me some problems hence a lot of cleaning! Been in about 2 months nows. Hope you like the pic, will try and add more.

Just getting off my bum and decided to update this journal. Im always reading and reading and dont really say much! My boxer lost an arm today for reasons unknown, i was looking in the tank and saw one of my rather large brittle star legs grabbing at it! Huge arm by the way! I have at least 7 or...

Yes he is massive now and doing very well thanks for asking! Oh and my dad is now going to do a tank after keeping tropical for many years! He just loves how interesting and involved everything is! He has a rio 125l. Got a lot of bits and bobs already!

Not updated much on here but i still love my tank, its had ups and downs especially with corals but its been so much fun! :good:

Should have updated a long time ago! Not going to say to much as nothing has happened really. Stocking all the same as above except that i no longer have a cleaner shrimp :sad: and replaced it with a boxer! :hyper: Will try and post pictures if i can remember how!

Hi all sorry if this post is in the wrong place! I have had the usual legs hanging out from the LR but today after i did my water change about 5 or 6 stars came out from the rock with the lights on and started what i can only say was x rated! They gathered together and then started standing up...

Sorry for spelling and not knowing exactly which type this is but i saw a lovely torch coral and was wondering if it would be ok in a orca tl 550 with standard t5s? If so what needs must it have. Sorry for all the questions i just wasnt sure on looking it up myself and knew you lot would help...

Im no expert but if your LR was not out of water for long or at all then i suppose the cycle can be short, however i normally hear of people saying weeks and mine took at least 2. Your cuc dont add to much bio load (if thats the right term) and that maybe why the lfs said it would be ok to add...
