Do you still have the banded coral shrimp? I've got a mated pair. Very interesting to watch.

Yes he is massive now and doing very well thanks for asking!

Oh and my dad is now going to do a tank after keeping tropical for many years! He just loves how interesting and involved everything is! He has a rio 125l. Got a lot of bits and bobs already!

Just getting off my bum and decided to update this journal. Im always reading and reading and dont really say much! My boxer lost an arm today for reasons unknown, i was looking in the tank and saw one of my rather large brittle star legs grabbing at it! Huge arm by the way! I have at least 7 or 8 that are adult i assume and more than i can count of the baby sort. They are everywhere!!! Thought the shrimp was in troublu until feeding time when he came out waving his 1 arm like crazy!  . Not much to update other than im doing a lot of cleaning (removing coraline) so all my powerheads and spraybar work 100%. Looking into upgrading stock skimmer which isnt good and maybe the pump. Oh also have lots of Turbo snails (babies!) and am fed up picking them up after they fall over , added a few more red leg hermits also as some have died.

Haha forgot to mention i moved house again! :shout: how i love moving the tank!

My goodness! You've been busy. Nice to see you again.

Pictures would be awesome. Hope the tank does well after the move.

Tank has been a bit messed up since the move and has given me some problems hence a lot of cleaning! Been in about 2 months nows. Hope you like the pic, will try and add more.

Oh he soooooooooo purty. Thank you. Sometimes that happens with a move, just keep things going with maintenance and you'll be ok.

Enjoy the pics and thanks for commenting not much traffic comes through my thread!

Awwww, from what I understand, sometimes sheds are consumed for their nutrients, as are spare parts.

He's a lovely shrimp.

Thanks he/she seems to be fine. Have cut lighting and feeding down a bit to combat things. Would love to rescape but am still thinking about it lol.
