I only looked at three when i was looking, German Blue, German Gold, and Bolivian Rams. The German Blue were the most colorful to me. Sorry I couldn't help any further.

That should be bis enough for a pair. You have to know that they need good quality water. I have a pair that i have had for about three months, they are really beautiful fish.

Put you some filter material around your intake on your filter, this will help. I had three Kuhli's at one time but never saw them that much, if you say you have a sand substrate you my never see them. Mine eventually disappeared. I have never found them to this day.

I had the Emperior 280 on my 37 gallon. I didn't like it because it did not seem to filter out all of the floating stuff in the tank. What I mean is that the water that came out still had stuff in it. I now run two Rena 30 Smart Filters which do an excellent job.

I have a pair of the German Blue Rams and a pair of the Scarlet Badis in a 37 Gallon tank. They get along OK together, there is some chasing but not one gets hurt. The scarlets when they do find each other will put on a show for you, and you are right the Rams are beautiful.

I have 2 Rena 30's on my 37 gallon. I have had no problems. They can be adjusted also.

I have three Juliis in my tank. they are interesting to watch but kind of skidish.

I have or had two khuli loaches in my tank, havent seen them in about a month. I spent one afternoon looking for the but could not find them. I hope they are ok.
