I may have miss stated. The tank is 25" high. It's a 55 gal. tank dimesions footprint I believe with the additional gal. added in height.

May I ask why the height wouldn't accomodate the Discus? This is something I have not heard of. The info would be appreaciated! Thanks, I did not plan to highjack your thread. :blush:

They called it a 60 gal. tank. I measure 48"x25"x12 1/2".

Nice shots DiscusLova. Just love those fish! I wish I had gone with the 90 gal. instead of the 60 (tall 55 gal.). 18" instead of 13" would have been nice. I've been watching the local mom and pop lfs that has discus. They have had a few of them for the last 3-4 months using the local tap...

Thanks for the welcomes! Not having a tank for the many years, I'm sure I will learn a lot. I needed a QT ( don't need it yet, but may in the future I'm sure) so I took my boys 10 gal. and bought him a 29 gal. instead. He is excited to say the least.
