You can get them from loads of places, supermarkets sell them! I got mine from a shop that sells allsorts, bit like a pound shop, only cost me 99p!!! ;)

I have sand aswell and if all your wanting to do is clean the sand then buy a basting set, which has a large pipette that is PERFECT for sucking up excess poo or left over food, no need to keep doing water changes then ;)

Well i spoke too bloody soon people, got in from work today and my dining room was flooded with approx 1/3 of my tank water, and coincidentley just as i had discovered what had happened my next door neighbour knocked on the door with my new hose adaptor, just to rub it in!!!!!!!! I really am...

Ah right i see, hopefully when the hose unit arrives this will sort the problem out!! I've noticed that it's a bit hit or miss, as in since i emptied the bucket it is currently sitting in at the weekend it has stopped leaking which i find strange! Just don't know if i can put my faith in it not...

Hi mate, apologies for the delay in getting back to you, it is a nice tank, but after discussing it with the "boss" my money has to be spent elsewhere on house projects etc...and unfortunately she does have a point!! Good luck with the sale though ;)

I've had this before mate, same thing with me getting a refund from a business seller, it just takes a bit longer for the refund to go into your bank account with processing times etc....it will say somewhere within the transaction details that it takes "x" amount of days to be in your account ;)

Tetraplant complete is good, you put a thin layer on the bottom of your tank, then can layer sand on top. It provides long term fertilisation which is good. ;)

From what i have researched on here sand is the best substrate for Cory's as they have sensitive and delicate barbules(sp?) that can be damaged by gravel :)

Hi again,forgot about this thread,lol!! I only feed my fish once a day, anything from flake food,to a range of frozen foods such as bloodworm,brine shrimp etc... and i feed my bristlenose plecs and cories a couple of sinking wafers aswell. Your right in only feeding your fish what they can eat...

Nitrite in your tap water?! :unsure: I've never heard of there being nitrite in tap water, but i have nitrate...Someone will probably be able to clarify this as i am not sure! *wonders off to get a sample of tap water and test it for nitrite*
