ps3 is basically a computer. People buy a console to play games. The xbox is the ultimate online game console. There suposidly making the xbox online free next year.

about time, £50 for a wi-fi adaptor then £40 a year for an XBL gold account.

So thats £90 on top, for what is free on the PS3

xbox 360 is the console for online gaming I can also agree that call of duty 4 is the best game out. Always ill be. My brother has ps3 and he plays his ps2 games on there. May just be some games that dont work.

It's all personal preference about the Xbox and the PS3, but until you Xbox owners actually own one and have the full use of the PS3 you can't really comment on the Xbox being better, just as i wouldn't comment and say the PS3 is better, like i said it's personal preference, they're both good consoles

I have a 60gb PS3 and an Xbox Elite, and the xbox hardly ever gets used.

side by side, IME, the PS3 is streets ahead in every area.

The only good thing about the 360 is Halo

In the earlier days (I had a 40gb 360 too) the xbox was better than the PS3...I bought both on their launch days and from the start the xbox had better games. The ps3 had a handful and I could go into Game and have nearly every game released for it.

Nowadays that the ps3 is established, theres no competition.
