if that's your tank in the sig i wouldn't go mad stocking it, becuase it's not horizontally long, but if you stick an air stone in there you will be able to stick a lot of fish in there. Also, you wouldn't have to rehome the plec for a long time, so i wouldn't bother trying to ask the pet store...

i'd go for sword tails in a big tank, they can grow like 5 inches and have loads of fry which on the whole is cooler for a bigger tank imo

what i do is put a pinch of flakes onto a small plate, then grind them in a circular motion with a flat bottomed glass, grind until it's almost a poweder, works perfectly for me btw feed about 2 times a day
