Thanks to all friends who attented my thread and my fish, and thanks to your advice also. My tank is 150x60x60 in size. The unit is cm. You know inch or gallon are not units in common use in China. Yes, I know that the gravel or substrate was too big. But if it was sand or a very fine pebble...

oh, the fish are so expensive in UK. A lot of Asian arowanas can not been sold in USA for the some reaseon of animal protecting law. So we are lucky to have them in tank. Why do you think my substrate is not very good ? Is too bright?

Thanks to the friends here. Nice to meet you too. The normal fish are not evry expensive in China, but price of a few species is very high ,such as blood red arowanas , gold back arowanas et al. The American silver arowanas is only about 10 us$ here.

I am surprised that few persons here are not very patient, especially to a foreign people just come to the forum, whosemother tongue is not English. In different country, the same fish always be named differently. It's not a grotesquerie. I am not a newbie because I have been pisciculture...

Of course they are my fish! I seldom go to English forum, so I am not sure about their English name. The RTG, we always call red tail arowanas, and the Pulcher we oftern call tiger or Thailand tiger. Now the RTG is more than 50cms, and the Pulcher is 40cms.

I am sorry . would you please tell what is the RTG and pulcher?
