they are funny fish i have three in my 29 gal and 2 convicts.when the con are chasing them theyll stop and stretch out there gills which scares the cons lol but thats about they but they do chase every once in awhile ecspealy when they breed

my whisper 3-40 gal power filter broke. so ive been lookin for other power filters for my 29 gallon cichlid tank and i found the aquaclear 50 it says its says it good for 20-50 gal so is that true or should i get bigger? Oh and is aquaclear a good brand?

wow all of you are wrong yes convicts could fight the oscar but an oscar is tuff so he will be fine.the minnium tank size for one oscar is a 30 gallon.

i love ugfs they have supior biological filtration. in my opion a power filter such as the pennplax bio falls combined with lees ugfs are the best combination there is

about one hundred i going to put in a breeder net but they are with the parents now

right now im feeding them hikari first bites then when they get little bigge i going to feed the baby size hikari cichlid gold wich has color enhancers in it i also feed that to my oscar which he loves it

they should be fine just keep an eye on the gorumies because they can be teratorial

i went to the petstore and they had an adult oscar in a 10 gallon so i bought it. now it in a 29 gallon. i know a 29 gallon is to small but its better than a ten plus im planing on getting a 50 or 46 bowfront.
