I'm giving away some of My convicts to one of my friends Parents. I want to give them a little care booklet to help them along the way as these will be their first fish and was wondering if anyone had a good place to get some info for them from.

I got them threw a lady in the news paper and she said she had had them for like 2 years and she has had no problems with them. They have been in the same tanks as well and the only thing I have done different is I added an air stone.

Its hard. I've been waiting to get them a bigger tank because they just multiplied outta no where, and I don't know if I'll get enough money for one this paycheck. My only other option is to put some in with a mating pair that has a Giant Danio in with them but they really don't like new fish...

It mentions in my little pamphlit that comes with my ammonia tester kit that you can use Ammo-Lock to instantly lock up ammonia. It says that it will convert the harmful ammonia to good ammonia and protect the fish? Is this a good idea to go and get if I can find it?

Tap water sits at a Ph of 7 and an ammonia of 0 mg/L. I just recently got this tank from a Lady in the newspaper. When we got it the bio filter was trashed so we had to get a new one. We do have a filter system and it is the one for this size of tank. We are trying to seperate the fish slowly...

No, not really. I don't have a really good camera to begin with but trying to get a picture of a fast fish that hides when lights come on and I can barely ketch in a net, it's near imposable.

I got this fish from a lady who gave me about 17 fish for free. She told me it was a convict and I really just can't see that being true. Here are some of the clearest photos I could get. It's really fast so they really aren't that good. I hope you can help me.

It is just the photo. She moves really fast. All I can tell you is the PH and the Ammonia. Ph is around 7.6 and Ammonia is 0 ppm.

My fish get peas about every 2 weeks or so. She just had one about 2 days ago.

This is about the best one I can get of her with the offending belly showing.
