    Guppy Birthing

Not to be rude, but wild types don't come in white. And wild females are usually buff in color, very drab. Unless breeding, I don't think those two should be together. If you aren't worried about her fry, why can't the gravid female be put in a breeder box? If you are, then maybe she should have...

    My Girl Is Changing....

Again, a profile picture might help to give a better assessment. I have females that look exactly like your fish that were female. I have had males with "ovipostitors". The pictures are too ambigous.

    Brine Shrimp?

Sea monkeys ARE brine shrimp, but they are hybridized brine shrimp bred to survive in the conditions such as is found in the average househole, in those small tanks they provide. They are also bred to be larger at hatch and at adulthood. Cost wise, they are a waste to get and feed to bettas...

    Betta Conditioner

You can also get it from the IBC website. Yes, non IBC members can order it. I find that older fish respond to it better, as does Thai bred fish.

    Baby Daphina

I have found that pulex are too large for fry that are under 2 weeks old. But I had some true moina, and the adults were only a little larger than weel old pulex, and I think they would be great t0o add to a fry tank.

    New Girl!

Males may have "egg spots" which are really a bit of protruding rectum.. but mlaes NEVER have egg cases. In many females, even darker bodied ones, you can see a light triangluar shape in their belly, with a long point toards the rear of the body. Even though your girl is a darker fish, it can...

    First Spawn

The VT may have been the start of the long finned form, but it was NEVER the standard, and from the beginning, the IBC breeders were breeding away from the arch, and towards more symetrical fins. The VT may have been the start of the long finned betta, but even what was considered show form when...

    My Girl Is Changing....

I have to disagree. If you can get a nice profile pic, that would help, but I have seen MANY females that have ventral fins just as long as that ones are. I have HAD females with vents that long. Though your fish does look more masculine, I am not so ready to say that is a male. And bubblenests...
