About a month ago, I was washing my tank lid, and put it on my chair. Its all glass, and somehow, I forgot it was there in the middle of it and ran to my comp and sat down...right onto the lid. So my tank was without a lid for a while, and in that while, my pride of the tank...my gold gourami...

It is only 30 Litres, I have one dwarf gourami in it, and a gold gourami atm, but the gold gourami is way too big now, i will haev to give him away. So i was thining of getting a smaller dwarf gourami to replace him. i have a raimbow shark, 5 neons and 3 flame tetras alongside them.

Or will they fight to the death?

im not sure how many gallons it is...we dont use gallons here in australia... its a 30 litre tank. i only got it for decoration in my room. the gold gourami has already grown too big for it i think, ill be giving it to some1 with a suitable tank soon, sad =( i raised it so big!!

yeap. i get alot of gunk in my filter...alot!! i think i put too much food in and alot gets sucked into the filter. so i wash it out...

How do u tell if it is male or female? I dont know the difference. It prolly is stressed, it gets chased around by my Gold Gourami alot.. Does stress make it lose colour? Water should be ok, I havent tested, but all the other fishies are doing fine.

I have a Coral Blue Dwarf Gourami... and it used to be really blue and nice. Recently, I looked at it closely, and it seems to be losing its blue colour. Its nearly becoming a silver/white gourami.... is this a bad sign? Im getting worried.

I read in your rules that you shouldnt wash your filter in tap water...how are you suppose to wash it then? Do i take some water out of the tank and wash it in there?? Thanks

sic. My rainbow is actually quite well behaved. All my tetras are smaller than it....well the neons... the flame have grown biggish. Tetras never have any trouble with shark. I think i got myself a good shark.! But i once tried platies... my shark didnt like them at all... I like my shark! :D

my tank is gourami vs tetra =) no problem there. just problem with gourami vs gourami!

They are in a small tank.. 1x Dwarf Blue Gourami 1x Gold Gourami 1x Rainbow Shark 5x Neon Tetras 3x Flame Tetras I keep feeling that that shark shouldnt be ini there...although it isnt really a shark!

I have a Blue Dwarf Gourami and a Gold Gourami, when I first got the blue one, it was a giant -> for a dwarf =) I was dumb enough to not do any research, and one day walking past a pet store, saw a tiny eeny weeny gold gourami, and I thought, gee that looks nice. So i bought it and instantly...
