What is the best kind of gravel vac to use? I am still considering using sand as a substrate instead of gravel...so if that makes any difference as to which one would be better let me know. I don't want something that is going to cost a lot either. Thanks.

i might just use sand in the tank i am setting up too...was gonna use gravel....but sand is sounding better every minute, lol....just hope my fish show their colors good with having light substrate....i plan on having a dwarf gourami, german rams and cardinal tetras.

u dont want air to be flowing over them, it would be like sitting the tank in the way of a draft...definately not good.

well i figured out how to use my scroll wheel with FF, i have to click with the scroll wheel then move the mouse up and down to scroll then click the wheel again to turn off scrolling.....don't like that. FF isn't bad and sometimes is a little faster than IE7 but I like the way the pages look...
