Pool Comets Eating Feeders.

Yes, goldfish will eat anything that will fit int their mouths. How big is your tank? 30 gallons?

I wouldn't feed them them feeder fish full of desease, and not much nutrition value in them either.
Not worth the risk.
Frozen foods and veg.

yeah 30 gallons.
maybe i should seperate the pool comet from the other fish?
the needlenose dosen't eat the flake food, and i read a couple sites saying they feed they're needlenose feeders and the lfs said that too.

but i'll go get some frozen food for him.

thank you!

I think that would be for the best :good: . He should eat frozen fish right, like the lancefish you can get at the lfs and stuff. If he doesn't, try some live locust or something big enough from a reptile shop to get him used to eating stuff floating at the surface :) .
what are feeder fish

A term used for fish that are going to be fed alive to other fish, usually inbred/bad quality/poor health goldfish, minnows or baby guppies or other livevbearers because they are so prolific.

Yeah, 30 gals is the MINIMUM for a needlefish, and the tankmates in that tank defiantly don't sound suitable...goldfish...angelfish  . But at least she's doing something about it....more than alot would :good: .
