thank you Always Learning, an sorry for the late reply. I've been sick. :sad: As for the tank water, I've read from a few sources that they do well in Ph 7.5 to 6.0, and temp from 74 - 78 F My tank is Ph 7.4 and the temp is usually in the 77-79 range. they're very fun fish to watch :D

Yup! I got the same thing as mommyof2bettas. A 10 gallon with everything but the heater, I can't wait to get it set up!

I think I'd keep it a little sparse, but add some interesting rocks in the middle-ish and one or two more plants to hide the heater. But, I like minimalistic designs, so...might just be my thing. ^ ^;

Well again thanks for the advice and compliments on the tank! I'm looking into getting the oil catfish as the little guys just stole my heart, and I'll see about modifying the tank to suit. But if I can't find one, my next choice is the killifish and after that a betta. And hopefully around...
