Scarlets can just vary in oranges colours, through to really rich dark red. My 14 inch L25 is more orange than red. And my smaller L25, which is 7 inches is a lot richer in colour. I have heard feeding prawns can en-rich a scarlets colour.

Can't get much better than wildwoods and trimar. Ive been getting plecs from trimar for years. Never had one die either. Sold a few on mind. Got a £105 L25 from them over 3 years ago. Still going strong, and she is now over 14 inches! :hyper:

Easy, either get rid of the barbs, or add a tank divider! As long as the holes in the divider, are not big enough for babies to get through. They should be fine :good:
