They look so squishy!

To be honest, I think he picked me. :). The pictures are great... his blue is metallic, but his yellow isn't, so the flash kinda drowns out the yellows, but still... he's so cute. :D

Yay! This is good, as I typically sleep with my fan on and window open (bringing the temperature in his tank down to 78ish). So it seems fluctuations are, at the very least, not harmful to the little guys? Thanks for your help, wuvmybetta!

So when I got εo, I bought a little thermometer thing to stick onto the side of his tank. It's been reading consistently between 78-82 degrees, although hovering in the 80-82 degrees part. Some websites say that this is okay, but some figures say that 80 is the highest temperature bettas should...

Hello everyone! Thanks for the warm welcome. :) I'm fairly busy... what would I do if I wanted to avoid daily water changes?

My name is Timur, and I'm deathly afraid of fish. In trying to overcome my fear, it has been recommended that I get a fish to take care of. So... what fish is relatively non-scary and easily taken care of? Synirr keeps telling me to get a betta, but I think she may just be biased. ;).

I guess I'm becoming Synirr's mouthpiece while she's out, but she says she does NOT play musical bettas. Ever.

I am posting in this thread to tell you that Synirr is not dead, just Internetless. Spawn diary updates will continue in 4-5 days when a satellite technician goes and fixes it. Or when she beats her hardware enough that it's too afraid to stay broken. Back to lurking for me...
