Thanks DD I have to admit it was tricky - and in hindsight not the best idea. It worked fine for a while, but even though they weren't really flaring (I had loads of plants to break line of sight too), stress levels obviously built up for some, and the gorgeous Mustard Gas HM completely chomped his tail to pieces due to stress.
As soon as he didn't have another betta living next to him, his tail started healing, as he was no longer chomping it.

Both of the males went to OohFeeshy, as sadly I decided to break down that betta tank. The female (that was in a community tank, went too Jessica13) I will never have a divided betta tank again anyway - one learns from trial and error I guess

To be honest, I think he picked me. .
The pictures are great... his blue is metallic, but his yellow isn't, so the flash kinda drowns out the yellows, but still... he's so cute.
