It might be a non compateble pair but not to shore sorry can,t be more help :/ just feed the fish and fry and leave them well alone and at night leave a lamp on in the room to let mum bond with the fry and also test the water once a week and do it very slowle and carefully...

Try carbon in your filter in time it should clear but the tannins are harmless so no worries. fishy whizz
