What are the basic/important signs that a guppy is about to give birth? Like what does she look like and how does she act? I've had them give birth but it was always overnight and I'm not sure if my girl is about to give birth now or not.

I don't think so; I'm not sure. I just bought their mother a month ago and she was already pregnant so I wouldn't know. They're perfectly healthy, though.

My female guppy gave birth about a month ago. Today, I was looking at her beautiful fry and noticed that almost all of the female fry had LARGE stomachs and their gravid spot was dark. They arn't even that big! Is it possible that they can give birth only a month after their own birth?

Yes, I have 2 females to 1 male guppy and 2 females to 1 male molly. Nooooooo they weren't interbreding...i was asking if the guppies and mollies were mating with eachother thankksss!

Hi there! I was wondering what this unusual behavior of my mollies was: A male and female like collided... it was a weird spasm move. I can't really explain it...but the male used its whole side of its body to butt into the female and they chased eachother around for a while. Were they mating...

Wow I totally jinxed myself. Lately Petsmart has been selling sick fish... 3 fish i bought all died from sickness...hahaha way to go, Sarah.

I'm getting really frustrated at petsmart... the female molly I bought TODAY has just died... from DISEASE! I think...well it didn't look to well...It wasn't swimming with the other fish and was by the filter a lot so idk.

Yeah, well its a 2 week garantee so once he dies I'm going to get another molly instead. Hey, how can you tell if two guppies are mating? I heard that the male guppy goes underneath her belly or something. My male guppies are doing that to some of the females but the females swim away quickly...

I have 3 males and 4 females but one of the males is about to die... I think it holds about 10g-20g.

I set up the tank Wednesday and added fish Saturday... My mom says it isn't ammonia posioning because the tank is new and the fish are all clean and are in a clean enviorment. UPDATE: The other fish are fine now, but my male guppy is still acting strange.

haha this was a serious question. I have 4 females and 3 males now. [ I just got 3 more females ] They did use to rub eachother but now that i've gotten more females theyre following them instead! haha

Hmmm I'm bored. Here's a more recent one: That's me and my two wacky friends haha... I think it was like 2 or 3 weeks ago. ugh. pimples. I hate them. I look stupid but I'm bored so theres another picture. [Taken today.]

Well the thing is, she birthed them..and they all were COMPLETELY healthy. Only like 2 or 3 were stillborn...but the next day [today] I woke up and the babies stomach guts were coming out of their bodies... I'm surprised that 6 survived.

I go to petsmart...they treat their fish very well and they are nice and healthy looking. I didn't even know walmart sold fish..haha I learned something new today!

Today I awoke to find my newly bought fish, Cracker, dead. It wasn't a surprise...she was breathing very slowly and wouldn't move much. The day before she had had babies...I checked on her babies today and about 98% of them were dead. Only about 6 out of 30 survived. I guess she was sick and it...

Yes, I have running a filter. You just can't see it from that view. It works fine lol. I set it up yesterday... I just bought that male yesterday :/ I'm very afraid. Now, the other fish have started acting quite weird as well...they seem to not move and stay close to the bottom and breathe...
