Can Fish Be Gay?

Mmmm, gay not sure, fighting or signs of aggression...maybe.
EDIT: Just to stop any confusion, if they are just mearly following each other and nothing else (no rubbing etc) i'm sure its fine. Maybe they arent two males, they may be male and female?

How many females do you have? Per male? Or do you have any?

They may be trying to mate with each other, it happens a lot. Male Livebearers have very over-active sex drives. If they appear to be trying to nip each other, it may be aggression over females.

I didnt think this was a serious question?

One of my male barbs has a handbag if that helps you out at all!

haha this was a serious question. I have 4 females and 3 males now. [ I just got 3 more females ] They did use to rub eachother but now that i've gotten more females theyre following them instead! haha

Fish are not gay as we interperate it, male guppys will mate with each other from time to time(especially if there are no females or a lack of female guppys) but this is actually an act of dominance from the stronger male over the weaker one; the same goes for "kissing" in fish, this is a sign of agression rather than love.
If you only have the 2males i would get a couple more to help spread out agression to help prevent any particular male getting picked on too much, either that and go for a mixed gender group and get the males 3females each if your tank has enough space to.

As long as the tank has no desease or water quality issues, i would get some more females even if one of the males is about to die, he may survive if some of the stress from the other males is taken off him- even if he dies the more females the better as long as your tank can handle them. You must find the exact amount of gallons the tank holds as every gallon counts and can make a large difference when it comes to small fish.
