Hi, I recently came accross the Danio Margaritatus on the WEB and i love em', I have rang around all my ''local'' fish shops and no one stocks them. Has anyone managed to procure these lil fellows in the south of England?

Hi Chris, I have a 21 UK Gal tank with the fish you can see on my sig with 1 male Bolivian Ram,not at all shy, and yes he is very active always roaming beggin for food at the front of the tank, I believe that he is happy being the only Bolivian, he gets on well with all the other fish espcially...

Hiya, I have been considering installing an air stone or some type of bubble maker, but I am sure I have read that they can crack your tank can this really happen with just by a few bubbles?. Has anyone had any problems with airstones? :/

I've been lookin at these and my lfs informed me that you can adjust the bubble rate

hiya, i have recently purchased a Bolivian, mine has no markings on the eyes or the black spot on the body, will these markings/colour develop when settled /matured?

Hiya, will dechlorinator/stress coat have a negative effect on my liquid fertilizer? as in the instructions for using liquid fert it states that water conditioners will have a negative effect on nutrient supplements. :/

Oh.. if you have no real plants in ye tank, then it doesn't really matter how long you keep them on for .. though fish prefer it when the lights are out, so lesser the better in your case :)

hi chickenlady, I keep mine on for 12 hours a day, I understand that 10 -12 hours is recomended for sufficiant plant growth.

hi Sylvia, The Honey i have is a creamy brown sandy colour but has no horizontal stripe, so not sure still whether it is a male or female. Thing is i was plannng on getting a female or 2 if it is a male, but as it does not show the male colouring not sure what to do.

Aye, i was wondering the same thing, i reacon they don't like it as it causes vibration and i have read that you should keep fish tanks away from loud sounds/vibration as it stresses them..hmm.. but lets hope they get used to it.

Hi Normi, you will not need to clean under the plants, if you go for a full carpet in your tank you will never have to clean the substrate :)
