    Stocking A 10gal. Tank?

You will rarely buy fish from the fish store that are full size. The point is that when those fish get bigger, your going to have a problem.

    Am I Fully Stocked?

If you are keeping 2 or more male bettas to gether in any sized tank, then there will be serious fights, and someone will die. I'm pretty sure that this is common knowledge. I know you can keep community tanks with some female bettas, but I would say that bettas(males especialy) don't make good...

    Beginner Help Needed

I would say its too warm, get it around 80, and if you can't, take the dang thing out lol. And a filter should be fine. Especially a sponge filter.

    Beginner Help Needed

I've used a filter with my betta since I got him. Rite now I'm using a Tetra Whisper filter, and put the flow rate on a lower setting. He likes to play in the small current, but I am always sure he has somewhere to go to get away. I never do full water changes, I just vacume the crap out and do...

Any Ideas For Fish In A 12gal.

I believe that the general rule is one per 5 gallons, and I don't think that its a good idea to stretch that limit. I've heard they're quit mean though, so it would have to be a species tank.

If you have a tropical fish store near you, you should go check out the bettas there. You will have a better chance of finding rare bettas like crown tails and duel tails, and you would also probably have better luck finding solid color bettas

That will work fine, you will just need to do more frequent water changes. I'm sure that you can find cheap glass bowls that are around two gallons at wal mart or some place like that.

I haven't seen a cheaper one that has a hood light, and a filter.

My betta does fine with the filter on one of the lower settings. He seems to enjoy playing in the light current at times. I am just careful he has a place to go to sleep, or rest, or do whatever it is that fish do. I don't use a heater with mine, as I live in Florida, and don't really think that...

Yep, you'll be set up fine. Just remember the 2.5 gallon I showed you has a hood and a light, and a filter. Also, you can probably buy that stuff at Walmart, and save some $$. I got my 2.5g tank from WalMart, and it has worked fine. Here is a pic of my betta, Floyd, in my 2.5 gallon aquarium. I...

You could put one betta in any size tank you really wanted. The problem is your tank will look extremely barer with only one fish. I personally wouldn't go bigger than 5 gallons. BTW, NEVER put 2 male bettas in the same tank.

You get .088 oz or 2.5g, which will last a WHILE. I have been using a small sample pack for 2 months now, and still have some left. Here is a link...http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_det...D=1129068909838 As for blodworms...http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_det...D=1129068909972

5 gallon isnt too much, acctualy I would say that you can't really get a tank thats tooo big, probably wouldn't want to go bigger than 10 gallon though. I would definately reccomend a filter for a 5 gallon.

This is what I use...http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3635102... Its worked great for me so far. The tank will give your fish a little more room. The tank also comes with a lighted hood, so that you can see your fish better. It also comes with a small filter, which will keep...
