If you have tree male guppies in a tank and then you put a lady guppy in what will happen? Will they kill each other if they haven't had it for a while? or will they be gentlemenly about it and take turns, with no fuss? I don't want to cause trouble in the tank.

tank is 2ft by 10" tank did contain 4 leopards and 4 Panda catfish. Tanks about three or four weeks old and there were no fish in it for a couple of weeks just plants. Fish seem fine, nothing seems wrong with them.

It's fine. Like I say drink plenty of water first so it's fresh. The fish will swim in their own unine during the cycle. I would only recommend you pee in the tank for a fishless cycle, then their's no need for the fish to swim around in it.

I bought a ship wreck for my tank, it's split in half got lots of holes in so the fish swin though. The panda's are always giving it a good polish.

No need to go out and buy ammonia, just use your own! I peed in my tank and it work a treat. Tip: drink plenty of water first so it's not too yellow.

Urine contains ammonia so try that out. Don't do it in the morning though, wait until the afternoon or evening when you've had plenty to drink and it's not so yellow or it will take longer to cycle.

Fish aren't just for christmas, their for life! Have you paid the electric bill? you could accidently forget and get yourself cut off, see if that kills them off.
